Thoughtful Thursday- Sharing the Love, Creating with heart

Time to pass on the love. I received two awards this week. Wow! Thanks! One was the Blogger Buddie Award  from  T.J Carson's Writing Endeavors, who you Must check out. She has a blog challenge about to start that will get your fingers typing for sure!

I'd like to pass this award to 5 Blogger Buddie's who have been with me from almost the beginning of my adventure. I still remember how excited I was when someone commented those early days. I still get excited of course, and glad you're still here.
Terri Tiffany - so inspirational!
Samuel Park's Daily Prep For Writers-amazing writing on writing!
Susan Reinhardt-great interviews and reviews!
Hilary Wagner-a must to read about her Nightshade City!
Julie at Julie Writes-shares of home adventures and writing-feel like part of her beautiful family!

The second award, Blogger BFF Award is from one of my first followers, Jill Kemerer. Jill always offers great advise and insight on writing, and her One Goal Friday posts helps keep me on track to my dreams.

I'm passing this award to five fabulous writer BFF's.
Tabitha Bird-Aussie with beautiful prose!
Just Jemi-Just Jemi is much more than Just!
Jessica Nelson-sweetly shares her world!
Susan Fields-has nifty news and true tips!
Talli Roland-if you haven't been at Talli's place yet, go, now!

I'd like to also thank those that follow my other place, Lps Designs - 365 Days of Photos. Some amazing photographers participating in this project and I'd like to give a shout out to them all.

Now for thoughtful Thursday. I've been whining lately to my goal getting group that my skies are grey lately. I have no jump to my step. I'm busy and setting goals in motion, but I'm just...grey. So, I've been waiting for something to change. For some person or event to come along and colour my skies again like the tools in photoshop that can replace grey with bright blue. But there's no magic wand in life.

It's me that sees those skies, and it's me that needs to take my God given tools and use them to colour my world again. I know part of what has stopped me is my walled heart. I fear of being disappointed, and of my heart breaking, again. But without heart in my work, in my life, how will I colour my skies?

So, I begin the journey of tearing down the walls.

I may be taking you with me on this journey, if that's okay. I've again begun the Artist's Way by Julia Cameron and on June 6th, I'll be participating in Creative Boot Camp. My goal is to get my heart back into my work; to allow my heart to be in a place that it can be broken.  To help understand I have borrowed the words from Switchfoot's Yet

If it doesn't break your heart, it isn't love
No, if it doesn't break your heart, it's not enough
It's when you're breaking down with your insides coming out
That's when you find out what your heart is made of

I'd love some company. Did you want to join me? Have you ever had to re-open your heart? Did you create your own magic wand to help you?

And Happy Memorial Day to all you Americans!
(I'll be drawing for my 100 follower and announcing the winner on Monday's post. If you haven't entered you still can HERE )

Thank you for thinking of me! I love being part of your journey. And yes, recently I had to open my heart back up to writing. I was ready to throw in the towel (cliche) and go back to nonfiction. But there is this part of me that wants to create memorable characters--some how. SO I'm still doing it even though the rejections hurt so badly.

I'm sorry your days have been grey lately, but you are strong for picking up the brushes to paint colors into your life. "Creative Boot Camp" sounds like a wonderful thing that I definitely do need to check out. Thank you for linking!

Opening my heart to someone who has hurt me is really hard. I never thought of creating a magic wand. *grin*
